A lot of the creative peoples of Instagram that I follow are using Canva. I started using just this year and so far I am impressed. It's got a lot of free stuff on the free plan and even more on the paid plan. The available fonts are not too shabby either. They also just added new features like the ability to save your brand colors, something I struggled with before where I have to keep the HEX code of my colors in a notepad for every design I make. There's this cool new feature for paying customers of uploading custom fonts - how amazing! So while I was scrolling through one of the Boss Lady Facebook groups I'm in, I came across someone asking how she could post to Instagram from her computer. A few comments down she says it's because Canva.com doesn't give you the option to share your design to Instagram and she's right. At the moment you can only share to Twitter and Facebook. So then I told her how I go about it. I also find it easier to compose my images on the website, using a computer rather than my phone. After I save it though, I don't download the image onto my computer, I just let it sit in my Canva account. What I do now is grab my iPhone, launch my Canva app, tap on my design and share it to Instagram from there.
Initially, the Instagram icon may not be visible when you tap share, you're gonna have to swipe left and tap More to enable Instagram sharing.
Oh I do love technology. 🙂
